According to McGovern, his design team is pursuing an “evolutionary” approach with the upcoming range rover, but given the freedom provided by a zero-emission powertrain, there are many different possible designs for the EV variant.
The best new electric Range Rover’s mechanical design is yet unclear, although the MLA platform enables the installation of two electric motors—one on each axle—for four-wheel drive.
